YES, OF COURSE WE WANT OBAMA TO FAIL

Once again, the liberal media exposes its hypocrisy.

First of all, let's once again look at liberal hypocrisy. Prior to George W. Bush being sworn into office, the liberals were crazy with unadulterated hatred towards the man and his perceived policies. After he was sworn into office, the liberals went even more crazy. They may not have said they wanted Bush to fail, but their words and their actions certainly did. They didn't have to answer the specific question about wanting Bush to fail, because, (1) it was a given, and (2) the liberal media didn't need to try and get prominent liberals on the record to promote the liberal agenda, as they do with conservatives who oppose Obama.

Do conservatives really want Obama to fail? That depends. If Obama decides to cut taxes, promote a stronger national defense, reduce spending, oppose socialist policies, nominate conservative judges to the Supreme Court, etc. then, no, they don't want him to fail. But of course, Obama does not support those ideologies. He generally supports far left wing policies such as massive tax increases, spending, and government take over of financial institutions and industry. He believes that bigger government, thrust into all areas of people's lives, is a good thing. He supports all forms of abortion and any laws that get rid of guns in the hands of law abiding citizens. There are very few policies for which conservative can agree with Obama. A far better question to ask would be 'are there any policies Obama supports for which conservatives would like him to succeed?'

So, yes, conservatives want Obama and his liberal and socialist policies to fail. That seems like such an obvious answer to a ridiculous question, that people should ask themselves, 'why is this question being asked in the first place?'. It analogous to asking a human being if they want to breathe. The reason it's being asked is that the liberal media are literally in love with Obama. They get tingling up their legs, they get weak-kneed when they report on him or approach him, and they see him as a deity rather than a man. During this period of high favorable opinion of Obama, they are trying to paint conservatives as negative, extremists. One way they do this is by reporting that conservatives want Obama to fail. Rather than deny it, as many weak Republicans do, these weaklings would be much better off simply stating that yes, they want extreme left wing, liberal, socialist policies to fail, however if Obama plans to promote the conservative positions which the overwhelming majority of Americans desire - such as lower taxes, a strong national defense, and tougher enforcement of immigration laws, than yes, they'd like Obama to succeed.

The liberal media didn't ask prominent liberals if they wanted George Bush to fail - they didn't have to. It was obvious and it didn't help promote their agenda. The mainstream liberal media can't believe that anyone would want their guy to fail. Just the latest example of a media out of touch with reality and unable to recognize their own hypocrisy.
